Ideal Institute of Technology’s Administrative Professional with Microsoft Office Specialist 2013 course is designed for students who are seeking a career as an administrative assistant or any other job position that requires the use of microcomputer applications. Microsoft Office 2013 skills are important skills to have in any profession or workplace. Being able to work with Office programs is a must in today’s workplace whether you are preparing for an entry-level position or are an experienced professional. This 325 hour program includes 300 hours of MS Office 2013 and 25 hours of Employment Development training. Administrative Professional with Microsoft Office Specialist 2013 course is a 100% hands-on training course wherein students interact with their teachers and trainers in a classroom setting.
What will I learn?
After the completion of this course you will be able to effectively work with all micro applications. The material is presented in a step-by-step manner, and you will learn by completing readings and hands-on exercises, in addition to watching video presentations. You will have sound knowledge of MS word, excel, and power point. The course outlines three stages of each application such as introduction, intermediate and advanced level.

Almost every company has Microsoft office applications on their work stations and require some sort of computer application knowledge for their daily routine. To get any entry level jobs in the IT industry you are require having Microsoft office application knowledge.
All candidates must be at least sixteen (16) years of age before enrolling. A high school diploma is required to enroll in course. Students who don’t have their high school diploma can first register for our HSEAP (former GED) program and then can start their Administrative Professional with Microsoft Office Specialist 2013 course. Students who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate of completion from the school.
A day in Administrative Professional’s life:
You will be required to work with MS office, excel and power point presentations. Depending on your company’s industry, an administrative assistant’s job will include creating word documents and spread sheets for the company data and projections and create charts from them. You will also be responsible for creating presentations on selected topics related to company sales and marketing or conference meetings.
